About the Research Exhibition

All conference participants will have the opportunity to showcase their research as part of a research exhibition. This exhibition is designed to promote a broader understanding of the wide range of research being conducted at Penn State. It is especially important for students, as they will have the opportunity to display their work and receive constructive feedback from their peers and mentors. In addition, prizes will be awarded to the first-, second-, and third-place winners.

The registration deadline for the research exhibition is Friday, January 8, 2010. Please submit an abstract as an attachment or in the body of your e-mail to cec227@psu.edu for inclusion in the program. Include your name, department, college (e.g., College of Health and Human Development), campus, and research title. The abstract should describe your research in 300 or fewer words. Please type your abstract in Times New Roman 12-point font.

Each exhibitor will be assigned a 4' x 4' space. It will be completely up to the exhibitor to determine how the space is used. All audiovisual needs must be indicated on the registration form. The costs for audiovisual equipment are the responsibility of the exhibitor.

Setup will begin at 3:30 p.m. and continue until 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 5, 2010. The spaces will be assigned at the exhibit registration table in the Atrium. The presenters are asked to stand by their exhibits from 5:00 p.m. until the exhibition ends at 7:00 p.m.

We ask that the presenters display their exhibits at the Achievement Conference on Saturday, February 6, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.

Registration deadline for research exhibition: January 8, 2010
