Mentors

The students will work not only with faculty, but also with creative writing mentors. These mentors will be writers pursuing the master of fine arts degree in creative writing, as well as interns—undergraduates taking upper-level creative writing courses at Penn State. The mentors will help the students with whatever stumbling block presents itself, whether it be line breaks, voice, point of view, or even writer’s block. The interns will live with the students and lead group activities.
